COMO Point Yamu is located on the east coast of Phuket, a 25-minute drive from Phuket International Airport. The hotel is situated at the top of Cape Yamu and has a 360-degree view over the Andaman Sea and of the UNESCO-protected, ancient limestone karsts of Phang Nga Bay. The interior design of COMO Point Yamu originates from the prestigious Italian designer Paola Navone, who already designed Armani Casa, Poliform and Driade. Her goal was to create a feel-good atmosphere. She combines local design elements, regional craftmanship, natural tones and colourful highlights with contemporary Thai luxury. The hotel offers a private yoga studio, gym and a breathtaking 100-metre infinity pool. The hotel’s excellent restaurants serve Thai and Italian dishes. As well as Thai food “Nahmyaa” also offers healthy COMO Shambhala dishes, and the Italian restaurant “La Sirena” serves guests all day on a terrace with a stunning view of the bay. In addition to sport activities including snorkelling, biking and golfing, the hotel offers boat trips and cultural activities such as Thai cooking courses, a visit to Thailand’s famous markets or a trip to the historical city of Phuket. COMO Beach Club, a 45 minute boat transfer from Yamu Pier, offers a secluded beach, a salt-water swimming pool as well as an open-air beachside restaurant and bar serving light meals ranging from simple grilled dishes to local fare. Private salas with sea views feature a sitting area, daybed, balcony, private bathroom and shower.
All of the 79 guest rooms and suites and the 27 private pool villas of COMO Point Yamu have a view of the shimmering water of Phang Nga Bay; some have their own private pool or terrace, as well as additional lounge and seating areas. Guests relax at COMO Shambhala Retreat Spa with specially designed Asian-inspired, holistic therapies with Ayurveda, massages and face treatments.
