The Grand Hotel Heiligendamm is situated at the German shore of the Baltic sea, settled between beech forests and the ocean. It’s history dates back to 18th century, making it the oldest beach resort in Europe. The hotel complex consists of six classical whitewashed buildings, which were all built between 1793 and 1870 and renovated from 2000 to 2003. The Grand Hotel Heiligendamm houses several restaurants and bars, like the Kurhaus Restaurant, the Sushi Bar or the Gourmet Restaurant Friedrich Franz, which has also been rewarded with a Michelin Star. The hotel features a 3.000 m² Spa area with a large indoor pool, saunas, a fitness center and special beauty treatments. Guests can choose between various activities, including golf, horseback riding, hiking and water sports. For children the hotel offers a day care service called “Eisbären Kinderclub” as well as special activity programs.
The Grand Hotel Heiligendamm features 185 guestrooms and suites, distributed on four different buildings. All accommodations are equipped with king-size beds, marble bathrooms, highspeed internet and air condition. The room and suite size varies between 30 m²-40 m² and 44 m²-80 m² respectively. The six exclusive suites feature views of the baltic sea.
