72 Hours In Riad Noir d’Ivoire

Hotel tested by Travel Editor Aline

Upon arrival it is clear: the Riad Noir d’ Ivoire is not only one of the many luxury riads in the red city of Marrakech but an integral and familial part of the place and his character. Beautiful oriental design with a pool in the smell of fresh roses in the air welcomes guests right in the spacious lobby. The wonderful staff makes you feel like home right in the moment you enter the beautiful Riad. Everyone is attentive and makes sure that you have the most wonderful time.

To make the night even more special, we had a surprise candle light dinner right by the pool with tasty traditional Moroccan dishes. Afterwards Ali’s Bar is the perfect place to end the night with signature drinks and a wonderful barkeeper, which for sure makes you laugh more than just once.

The Master Suite Chameau, situated in the winter courtyard with lounging sofas, a fireplace and a private balcony overlooking the courtyard was our cozy home for the next four days and couldn’t have been more wonderful.

The perfect day starts at breakfast right by the pool with delicious Moroccan specialties, fresh fruit and orange juice, eggs, traditional tea and coffee.

Our wonderful concierge always made sure that we had everything we needed, including the best tips to explore the beautiful city of Marrakech.

The next day we found another reason not to leave the Riad in the morning: Coco’s spa, where we enjoyed a traditional Hammam and had the most relaxing day. Still slightly floating on that wellness cloud we walked up to the rooftop terrace. Watching the sun slowly setting over the roofs of one of the most magical cities in this world.
