Hotel De Russie

Designed by world-famous architect Tommaso Ziffer in 1814, the 122-bedroom Hotel de Russie sits on Rome’s fashionable Via del Babuino, between the Spanish Steps and the Piazza del Popolo. Its iconic Secret Garden designed by Valadier, is full of orange trees and antique roses. The Secret Garden features both the Stravinskij Bar, one of the city’s best spots for cocktails and classic Italian aperitivo, and Le Jardin de Russie Restaurant, overseen by the illustrious Chef Fulvio Pieranelini, with superb Mediterranean cuisine. Other highlights include a state-of-the-art gym and the De Russie Spa. There are also four meeting rooms to host private celebrations or corporate events, as well as the Nijinsky Suite with its extensive private terrace, ideal for al fresco dining and exclusive entertaining.

Classic yet contemporary, each of the 88 rooms and the 33 suites has been individually designed by Olga Polizzi in collaboration with the architect Tommaso Ziffer. The recently renovated Popolo Suite and Picasso Suite provide wonderful views over Piazza del Popolo and the Secret Garden respectively.

Rates start at EUR 625 per room per night.

Hotel De Russie has been honored with the ‘Certificate of Exellence 2017’.
