The JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa is located on the private island Isola delle Rose just 20 minutes by boat from the famous St. Mark´s Square Venice and welcomes guest since the summer of 2015. The winner of two Michelin stars chef Giancarlo Perbellini serves fine Italian cuisine at the “Dopolavoro”. A team of nine chefs who have been selected and trained by Perbellini, serve only fresh, local products and a wide variety of vegetables, herbs and fruits from the gardens of Isola delle Rose. To the JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa also belongs a Kid’s club for the younger guests, a large family pool, water sports like the classic Venetian rowing or sailing as well as a spectacular infinity pool on the roof, from which guests have a unique view over the lagoon and the famous St. Mark’s Square.
The resort that is designed by the award-winning Italian architect Matteo Thun & Partners offers 250 rooms and suites. During the renovation of the hotel building the architect Matteo Thun took special care of creating a sustainable modern and elegant design and bringing the historical architecture and the parks of the island back to life. Guests can choose between five different room categories that range from 28 sqm to 70 sqm. In ‘The Hotel’ there are 191 rooms with large glazed areas and private balconies overlooking the resort’s gardens. ‘La Residenza’ has 12 rooms that are decorated with parquet floors in soft earth tones in an airy Mediterranean style and their private gardens open towards the lagoon or spa. The 26 rooms at ‘L’Uliveto’ offer an almost rural atmosphere overlooking the ancient olive groves of the island. The 20 ‘La Maisonette-Suites’, which range over two floors, all have a terrace with garden, some have an additional pool and views over the channel, the olive groves and the small church of the island. Those looking for the ultimate privacy for themselves and their family the ‘La Villa Rose’, with private garden and pool and two bedrooms, is the perfect hideaway.

The Spa Goco Venice at the resort won the ‘best for beauty and anti-aging’ and ‘best for the wow factor’ in the Spafinder Wellness Travel Award 2015. Also in 2015 the gourmet restaurant Dopolavoro at the Resort was awarded with his first Michelin star.
