The luxury hotel chain Mandarin Oriental established this jewel in 2015 in Marrakech: a resort in a 20-hectare landscaped garden with 100,000 roses, olive groves and bougainvillea. It offers a picturesque view of the Atlas Mountains only a few minutes away from the Medina. The 54 villas and 9 suites are designed in the traditional Berber style with Moorish influences. The Moroccan star chef Meryem Cherkaoui serves contemporary renditions of the country’s traditional cuisine in the “Mes’Lalla”. The “Pool Garden” serves Mediterranean dishes with crisp vegetables from the hotel’s garden. Breakfast and all-day Moroccan and international dishes are offered in “Salon Berbère”. The “Ling Ling by Hakkasan” is a party hotspot with innovative cocktails and Cantonese dishes, which opened in summer 2016. The 1,800 sqm spa invites guests to enjoy pure relaxation. The wellness oasis includes six treatment rooms as well as a Thai massage room and two luxurious hammams. The Mandarin Oriental Marrakech is also attractive as the ultimate golfing destination: there is direct access to the golf clubs The Royal Golf and Al Maaden, and the Amelkis golf course is only a few minutes away.
Each villa includes a small garden with pool, whirlpool and terrace, which are perfect for sunbathing or outdoor dining. A breathtaking view of the gardens and the Atlas can be enjoyed from the suites with private rooftop and pool.
Rates start at EUR 643 per room per night.
