Tierra Chiloé is situated on the main island of the Chiloé archipelago, surrounded by the channels and ﬁords of Northern Patagonia. Built with a sustainable geometric design, which echoes the traditional stilt houses of the island, the hotel forms a modern landmark in a natural surrounding. The interiors are decorated with hand-made textiles and woodcarvings reflecting the island´s culture. The restaurant serves traditional dishes of Chiloé Island like Crabs of Quellón or Curanto, a stew of shellﬁsh, all made from local products. Guests can also enjoy an extensive list of Chilean wines, artisan beers and classic cocktails. Tierra Chiloé offers several excursions and activities like trips to the UNESCO World Heritage churches, to local markets, nature observations, horseback riding, kayak and bycicle tours.
The hotel has 12 exclusive 30 m² rooms located on the upper ﬂoor, each with a panoramic view over the ocean. Every room features a cozy though modern atmosphere with style elements like hand-dyed rugs and throws woven from local lambswool. All accommodations have showers and Jacuzzi tubs, telephones, hairdryers and safes.
