Join me on my trip to an alpine paradise, surrounded by luscious meadows sprinkled with fragrant mountain flowers, close to the city of Meran in the heart of South Tyrol. Located less than 5 minutes from the gondola station of ski-resort Merano 2000 lies hotel Chalet Mirabell. Come with me and let me show you my personal insights of this phenomenal and luxurious venue. Make yourself comfortable and start reading a first-hand exploration, a true fairytale, of my wonderful stay on site: Chalet Mirabell.

Catch me if you can. Otherwise I'll stay here for a while
Closing the eyes is actually a common practice to start dreaming. But at Chalet Mirabell you enter a dreamland with your eyes wide open. In close vicinity to Meran in South Tyrol, embedded in between the meadows, you can find this impeccably wonderful place.

My little heaven
Crackling sounds of the wall mount fireplace welcomed me when I entered the room.
There was an atmosphere of nativeness overall. High quality fixtures, elements of wood and stone, and always prominent views to the impressive mountainside.

Always a view to the garden

Loosen up in the iconic garden of Eden? Or plunging into the jacuzzi around midnight? YES please!
Looking for a private retreat? Bergvillen
Speaking of dreams: this is like a fairytale castle for modern design lovers. Once you are there, you don’t want to leave this place anymore. The Premium Forest Villa can accommodate up to 12 people and offers privacy for groups and families.

It's time for wellness
Dipping into the pool right before breakfast and watching the sun rise above the unique mountain scenery in the early morning gave me goosebumps. The notable poolside left nothing to be desired and was a true highlight of my stay.

Everything your heart desires:
Endless - speechless - just perfection: The spa area took my breath away. You want to know why? Just take a look at the impressive saunas, steam baths and exceptional relaxing areas.

Garden of Eden

Walking barefoot on grass… Breathing alpine air… Testing the natural swimming pond… This garden is everything.
Delicacies: Come this way!

From the breakfast buffet in the morning to the 7-course menu in the evening, I indulged in a feast of flavours without a guilty conscience.

My personal highlight
My personal highlight was the llama enclosure on-site. Though I never caressed a llama before, I approached sweet Manolo with a smile and the greatest respect. He was quite cheeky but so lovely at the same time. I was told that llamas spread good vibes and thus can contribute to wellness and relaxation treatments. Saying goodbye to them was the hardest.
