Tryn, named after the bold and spirited 17th-century founder of the estate, is equally bold in its decor and flavors. This is where you will enjoy your hotel breakfast, and Tryn is also open for light lunches and offers a splendid dinner menu. You can choose to dine in one of the beautifully decorated rooms or on the sunny terrace with views of the gardens and vineyards. The second restaurant on the estate is Bistro Sixteen82, named after the year in which Steenberg was established. Popular with locals, the estate’s excellent wines are available to accompany an innovative menu using seasonal ingredients.
